Abstract:
The present invention provides a data processing method suitable for obtaining quantitative information from data obtained by OCT imaging. An image processing method according to the present invention is provided with: a step (S102) in which original image data is acquired which corresponds to a three-dimensional image of a cultured embryo, which is obtained by optical-coherence-tomography imaging of the embryo; and steps (S103-S105) in which the three-dimensional image is area-divided into a plurality of areas on the basis of the original image data, wherein, in the area-dividing step, a local thickness calculation is performed on the three-dimensional image, an indexing value is obtained which indexes the size of an object included in the three-dimensional image, the three-dimensional image is divided into an area in which the index value is larger than a prescribed first threshold and an area in which the index value is smaller than the prescribed first threshold (S104), and each of the divided areas is divided through a watershed algorithm (S105).
