Abstract:
An image processing method relating to the field of video surveillance. When a video camera having PTZ capabilities pans and/or zooms, intelligent analysis rules and the relative position of a corresponding reference object remain unchanged. The method comprises: receiving an image operation command, said command comprising performing at least one of a pan operation and a zoom operation; on the basis of the command, performing an operation on the image, wherein the image is provided with superimposed rules in the form of lines or geometric areas as well as with a reference object; after the operation, displaying the rules on the image such that the rules and the relative position of the reference object remain the same before and after the operation.
