Abstract:
Provided is an image projection device comprising: a light source 12; a scanning unit 20 for scanning light beams 40 emitted from the light source 12; and a radiation optical system 30 for converging a plurality of light beams 40 emitted at different times from the scanning unit 20 at a convergence point 46 in an eye 60 of a user and then emitting the converged light to the retina 62 of the user to project an image on the retina 62, in which, when the half angle θ of a larger one of a field angle in the horizontal direction and a field angle in the perpendicular direction in a range in which the plurality of light beams 40 at the convergence point 46 are emitted to the retina 62 is 10° to 30° inclusive, and the diameter of each of the plurality of light beams 40 entering to the cornea 66 of the user is set to 0.36 mm to 0.46 mm inclusive.
