Abstract:
An image projection device (100), which projects an image onto a display unit (24) for displaying a virtual image, is provided with a determination unit (11) which determines whether a preceding vehicle is present ahead of an own vehicle, and an image projection unit (16) which, if it is determined by the determination unit (11) that a preceding vehicle is not present, projects an image indicating a presence of a preceding vehicle onto the display unit (24).
