Abstract:
Disclosed is an image providing system wherein an image acquisition device for acquiring image data, a server for managing the image data, and an image display device for displaying the image data are connected through a network. On the basis of the timing that the image data is acquired, reliability information indicating the time-related reliability of the image data is generated. The image data, positional information, and the reliability information are stored in the server. The image display device displays a composite image wherein a special image indicating the time-related reliability of the image data is added to map data, on the basis of the map data and the reliability information.
