Abstract:
The present invention can be used for an image reading apparatus that scans and reads an original with the original held by an original holding-down apparatus. The present invention can be used to provide an image reading apparatus which is excellent in operability in that an original can be set at a desired position with an original holding-down apparatus slightly lifted and to provide an image forming apparatus comprising that image reading apparatus.
