Abstract:
[Problem] To reduce manufacturing cost and device size. [Solution] An image formation device 10 includes a CPU (82), an image formation unit (14), and a display panel 48. The display panel 48 functions as a display unit 48a for displaying an image, an image reading unit 48b for reading a document placed on a display surface, and an operation unit 48c for receiving an input operation performed by a user. The CPU (82), upon detecting a document area where the document is present on the display surface of the display panel 48, causes the operation unit 48c to be displayed on the display panel 48 at a position corresponding to the detected document area.
