Abstract:
An image sensor using light emitting elements for 3 colors R, G, and B is provided with
a one-pixel-readout period of time in which an all turn-on period of time is set
for all the light emitting elements for three colors to turn on and a turn-off period
of time is set for each light emitting element to turn off, and accumulates a light
quantity for each period of time for measurement. On a basis of difference in light
quantity between a light quantity for the all turn-on period of time and that for
the turn-off period of time, a light quantity resulting from each turn-off light
emitting element is sought to be that of such turn-off light emitting element, so
that light quantity information corresponding to each light emitting element is
obtained from the total light quantity for the entire one-pixel-readout period of
time and the light quantity of each light emitting element
