Abstract:
Transmitted image data are stored in a frame memory (115) in the order of DC components and AC components. At that time, the ID of a think-block is detected by an ID number detection unit (117) and the detected ID is supplied to an encoder unit (114). The encoder unit (114) judges whether or not the data read-out of a frame memory (93) belong to a buffering block whose storage is already finished, based on the ID. If the read-out data belong to the buffering unit whose storage is finished, the data are outputted as they are; and, if the read-out data belong to the buffering unit whose storage is not finished, the gray data are outputted instead.
