Title:
IMAGE RECEPTION SHEET
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/1990/008659
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
This invention relates to an image reception sheet which is used in combination with a heat transfer sheet on which a dye layer containing those dyes which are fused or sublimate by heat for migration is formed. The image reception sheet has an acceptor layer (12) for accepting the dyes migrating from the heat transfer sheet, on the surface of a sheet-like substrate (11), and is characterized in that this acceptor layer (12) consists of a copolymer obtained by copolymerizing (a) vinyl chloride, (b) an acrylic acid type monomer and (c) a linear polymer having a vinyl group at its terminal. The present invention having a structure described above improves dyeability and weatherability after printing and is particularly excellent in preservation property of a printed image.
