Abstract:
Provided is an image recognition device, comprising a subject recognition means which recognizes a subject from an inputted image on the basis of a prediction process. This image recognition device further comprises: a prediction process change assessment means which, if a movement is sensed from the inputted image, assesses whether a change of the prediction process is necessary; and a prediction process change means which, if it is assessed that the change of the prediction process is necessary, changes the prediction process to a different prediction process. Thus, it is possible to provide an image recognition device, etc., which are capable of facilitating easily switching among recognition and prediction methods when recognizing and predicting a subject.
