Abstract:
An image recorder in which a sheet is wound around a friction carriage drum having a circumferential length longer than the sheet length by a quarter of the circumferential length or longer, contacts for pressing the sheet against the friction carriage drum are provided at at least four points on the circumference of the friction carriage drum in order to prevent the sheet from being shifted on the friction carriage drum, and misregistering of colors is prevented during a plurality of times of transfer process.
