Abstract:
[Problem] To provide an image recording body and an ink jet image recording method capable of achieving both image quality and abrasion resistance.
[Solution] An image recording body obtained by forming an ink layer using an ink composition after forming on an unabsorbent recording medium a pre-treatment layer including resin and a component capable of forming an aggregate upon contact with the ink composition, wherein the value of a shape factor SF1 of the aggregate is in the range of 120 ≤ SF1 ≤ 180 and the value of a shape factor SF2 is in the range of 110 ≤ SF2 ≤ 160.
