Abstract:
The present invention is provided with the following: conveyance parts for conveying a recording medium; a drum onto the outer circumferential surface of which the recording medium begins to roll, and that rotates from the frictional force generated with the recording medium conveyed by the conveyance parts; a discharge part that records an image by discharging a photocurable ink onto the portion of the recording medium which has begun to be rolled onto the drum; a light emission unit that, on the side of the recording medium conveyance path downstream of the discharge part, emits light on the portion of the recording medium that has begun to be rolled onto the drum, curing the ink on the recording medium; and a cooling unit for cooling the drum.
