Abstract:
A facsimile device (10) is provided with a device main body (20), a cover member (30), a partition plate (70), and an exterior member (61). The device main body (20) houses an image forming section (50), and a paper transfer path (51) for transferring paper from a paper inserting port (52) to a paper ejecting port (53) through the image forming section (50), and the device main body is covered with an exterior member (61). The paper inserting port (52) and the paper ejecting port (53) are arranged in parallel on an upper section of the device main body (20). The cover member (30) swings between an open position for holding the paper and a closed position constituting a part of the exterior member (61), having a swinging axis (31) as a supporting point. The partition plate (70) swings between an open position for partitioning the paper prior to image formation and the paper after image formation, and a closed position where the partition plate is stored in the device main body (20), by having a swinging axis (71) as a supporting point.
