Provided are an image registration method and apparatus, an electronic device and a computer-readable storage medium, relating to the technical field of image processing. The method comprises: acquiring an initial reference image and an initial image to be registered; transforming the initial reference image into a first reference image with a designated bit depth, and transforming the initial image to be registered into a first image to be registered with a designated bit depth; determining, on the basis of the first reference image and the first image to be registered, a first perspective transformation matrix for transferring the first reference image to the first image to be registered; and performing, according to the first perspective transformation matrix, fusion registration on the initial image to be registered to obtain a registered image. In the present solution, transforming the bit depths of an initial reference image and an initial image to be registered, and after the bit depths are transformed, then performing transferred image registration on the initial reference image and the initial image to be registered facilitate the improvement of the accuracy of image registration, and ameliorate the problem of being unable to support hyperspectral image registration processing.
