Abstract:
Disclosed is an image rendering device, which is capable of easily maintaining a precision of a location of a nozzle that discharges a pattern of functional liquid droplets within a single cell, and which is capable of forming the pattern of the functional liquid droplets within the single cell with a high degree of locational precision, wherein a liquid droplet discharge head is configured such that a plurality of nozzle groups, which are each formed from a plurality of nozzles, is positioned in a second direction that is orthogonal to a first direction, wherein the pattern is formed from a plurality of cells that are positioned in the second direction, said cells being formed from a plurality of a dot and/or a line in the first direction, and the pattern of the single cell, in whole and/or in part, is rendered by the functional liquid droplets that are discharged by the plurality of nozzles that are associated with a given nozzle group.
