Abstract:
An image rendering method, comprising: determining vertex coordinates of a virtual map block, in a virtual map, corresponding to an imaged to be rendered; loading, by means of a vertex shader, a physical map corresponding to the vertex coordinates to a map cache; determining, for rendering sub-blocks in the virtual map block corresponding to the vertex coordinate, corresponding physical texture coordinates of the rendering sub-blocks in the map cache; transmitting the physical texture coordinates to a pixel shader; and sampling, from the physical map in the map cache by means of the pixel shader, texture pixels matching the physical texture coordinates, and rendering the image to be rendered on the basis of the texture pixels.
