Abstract:
An image retrieval method and apparatus, a storage medium, and an electronic device. The image retrieval method comprises: receiving an input retrieval request for an image (101); recognizing whether a retrieval target carried in the retrieval request is a retrieval term or a retrieval sentence (102); if the retrieval target is a retrieval term, retrieving an image of an image category and/or image object matching the retrieval term (103); and if the retrieval target is a retrieval sentence, retrieving an image having image semantics matching the retrieval sentence (104).
