Abstract:
The present application provides an image sensor, a camera module, an electronic device, and an image processing method. The image sensor comprises: a plurality of pixel units arranged in an array in the horizontal direction and the vertical direction. The plurality of pixel units comprise: a plurality of white pixel units, a plurality of first color pixel units, a plurality of second color pixel units, and a plurality of third color pixel units. By configuring the white pixel units, the light incident amount of light can be increased, thereby improving the brightness of the image acquired by the image sensor. The shape of each pixel unit is a polygon, and an included angle between at least one edge thereof and the horizontal direction is an acute angle. Any two adjacent pixel unit rows are arranged in a staggered manner, and any two adjacent pixel unit columns are arranged in a staggered manner. In this way, the arrangement of the plurality of pixel units in the image sensor is relatively compact, so that the resolution of the image acquired by the image sensor is relatively high, thereby improving the quality of the image acquired by the image sensor.
