Abstract:

Provided are an image sensor, a mobile terminal, and an image capturing method. A pixel array of the image sensor comprises a preset number of pixel units. The pixel units comprise a first pixel and a second pixel employing dual pixel focusing. The first pixel comprises red, green and blue subpixels. The second pixel comprises at least one type of red and blue subpixels, green subpixels and infrared subpixels. Each type of the subpixels is arranged in groups of four. The infrared subpixels in the second pixel are arranged at the same positions as those of the red, green and blue subpixels, a first combination of subpixels or a second combination of subpixels in the first pixel. Half of the subpixels included in the first combination of neighboring subpixels are red and half are green. Half of the subpixels included in the second combination of neighboring subpixels are green and half are blue. Alternatively, half of the infrared subpixels in the second pixel are arranged at the same positions as those of half the red, green or blue subpixels in the first pixel. One half of the infrared subpixel in two adjacent second pixels forms an infrared subpixel.
