Abstract:
An image sensor that uses high-speed image data, different from low-speed image data for display, and performs high-speed recognition processing. In the image sensor, an imaging element captures images of a target object and generates frames of image data arranged in chronological order. A binarization processing unit performs binarization processing on each frame and generates binary frames. A tracking processing unit generates differences between chronologically adjacent binary frames and tracks changes in the position of the target object included in the binary frames.
