Abstract:
When a storage request is inputted, a storage/reproduction control unit (3) transmits an intra-frame request signal to an image signal transmission device (A) and a storage start signal to an encoded signal storage unit (4). In the image signal transmission device (A), on receiving the intra-frame request signal, an encode control unit (2) controls an image encoding unit (1) so that the entire screen may be encoded in an intra-frame encoding mode, and transmits the encoded image signal, having the whole screen encoded in the intra-frame encoding mode, to an image signal storage/reproduction device (B). In this image signal storage/reproduction device (B), an image decoding unit (5) then decodes the encoded image signal, and the storage/reproduction control unit (3) responds to the storage start signal to perform the storage from the encoded image signal having the entire screen encoded in the intra-frame encoding mode.
