Abstract:
The objective of the present invention is to reduce the time required from the start of measurement of a plurality of images displayed successively on a display until completion of the measurement of all the images. In order to achieve this objective, this image signal generating device is provided with: a display image signal generating unit which repeatedly generates a display image signal corresponding to an image, while varying the display image signal in such a way that the content of the image displayed on the display varies over time; an output interface for outputting to the display the display image signal generated by the display image signal generating unit; and a notification signal generating unit which, in response to the variation timing with which the display image signal generating unit varies the display image signal, generates a notification signal for providing a notification of the variation timing.
