Abstract:

An image transfer apparatus includes an impression cylinder (8) having an image forming material attached thereto and a transfer cylinder (1) having an image substrate attached thereto, for transferring an image formed on a photosensitive layer of the image forming material to the image substrate by introducing the image forming material and the image substrate to a nip between the impression cylinder and the transfert cylinder by the rotation of the impression cylinder and the transfer cylinder. In the image transfer apparatus, a device for attaching the image forming material holds the front and rear grip ends of the image substrate to the surface of the impression cylinder throughout the full width, and the device on the front grip end side is a pin bar (13) that protrudes from inside the portion of a blanket (10) which is a slope (12) extending to a partial notch (9) formed in the impression cylinder.
