Abstract:
The image transmission system is equipped with a time-division display device which sequentially displays each of first to Nth (N is an integer two or greater) images using time division at a frequency of M × N (Hz) (M is an integer one or greater) or higher, a multiplexing unit which multiplexes the aforementioned first to Nth images in the order they are displayed by the aforementioned time-division display device, a transmission unit which transmits the multiplexed images multiplexed by the aforementioned multiplexing unit onto a prescribed image transmission channel at a frame frequency of M (Hz), and a reception unit which receives the aforementioned multiplexed images from the aforementioned transmission unit through the aforementioned prescribed image transmission channel and sequentially transmits image data in the aforementioned received multiplexed images to the aforementioned time-division display device.
