Abstract:
Disclosed is an image transmission system that solves the problem of reduced image quality. A multiplexing section (11) generates a multiplexed image in which N images are multiplexed in the display sequence. A transmission section (12) transmits this multiplexed image. A frame memory (23) generates a reference image by delaying the images in the multiplexed image received by a receiving section (21) by 1 frame period (1 sub-frame period) of this image. An OD calculation section (25) generates an overdrive image by converting the pixel values of this image (subject image) in accordance with this reference image, every time an image from the multiplexed images is received by the receiving section (21). A time division display device (3) displays this overdrive image.
