Abstract:
An image vectorization training unit (3) converts a sample raster image in a raster image database (2) to a vector image in accordance with a given method, and stores the vector image paired with an image feature value into a pattern database for raster to vector conversion (4). An image vectorization execution unit (5) divides an inputted raster image into portions, selects from the pattern database for raster to vector conversion (4) image vectors which are stored paired with the image feature values conforming to image feature values of the respective portions, and combines the image vectors.
