Abstract:
This imaging apparatus switches a first optical path and a second optical path having parallax with respect to the first optical path in time series, and captures a first image based on an image of a subject formed by light passing through the first optical path, and a second image based on an image of a subject formed by light passing through the second optical path. The imaging apparatus comprises: a motion vector calculation unit which calculates a motion vector for each divided region of a first criteria image, from the first criteria image and a first reference image having an imaging time different from that of the first criteria image, selected from a plurality of the first images; a motion vector interpolation unit which interpolates, on the basis of a luminance value of the divided region, an interpolation motion vector for each pixel of the first criteria image, from the motion vector for each divided region; and an image correction unit which corrects the first criteria image or the first reference image to a predicted image of the first image that precedes or follows the first image in time, on the basis of the imaging time of the second image, by using the interpolation motion vector.
