Abstract:
In order to correct a decreased resolution and an artifact that are due to an interpolation error in a phase difference pixel, an imaging apparatus (100) according to the present invention comprises: an imaging element (101) including a normal imaging pixel and a phase difference detecting pixel; a shifting unit (200) that shifts the imaging element (101) by a shift amount in decimal pixel units; a phase difference pixel correcting unit (102) that corrects, by interpolation, a pixel value obtained by the phase difference detecting pixel, to an equivalence of the normal imaging pixel; a pixel storage unit (202) in which the pixel value of the imaging element (101) after the correction is placed and stored in a storage area corresponding to the shift amount; and a high-resolution image synthesis unit (203) that synthesizes a plurality of stored pixel values to generate a high-resolution image. The shifting unit (200) shifts the imaging element (101) so that, for a specific color, a plurality of pixel values including the pixel value of the normal imaging pixel are present in the same pixel position as a phase difference detecting pixel of the high-resolution image, and the high-resolution image synthesis unit (203) synthesizes, at a predetermined synthesis ratio, the plurality of pixel values corresponding to the specific color.
