Abstract:
This imaging apparatus includes an imaging unit and a signal processing unit. The imaging unit generates a first image signal based on visible light from a subject and a second image signal based on excitation light and fluorescence from the subject. The signal processing unit generates a fluorescent image signal corresponding to the fluorescence on the basis of the first image signal and the second image signal. The signal processing unit determines a region of interest in the subject on the basis of the first image signal. The signal processing unit determines a fluorescent region on the basis of the second image signal corresponding to the region of interest and the fluorescent region generates fluorescence in the subject. The signal processing unit enhances the second image signal corresponding to the fluorescent region.
