Abstract:
Provided are an imaging control device and an imaging control method that control the operation of an imaging unit mounted on a moving body such as an automobile, and an imaging apparatus mounted on the moving body to be used. Since a center area 801 comprises fine pixels, imaging is achieved at a high resolution. One of peripheral areas 802 and 803 is highly sensitive by means of pixel addition or being comprised of pixels having a large pixel size, and blurring or focal plane distortion can be reduced by shortening exposure time during a high-speed operation or moving object photographing. In addition, at night or during traveling in a dark place, the peripheral areas 802 and 803 not illuminated by a head lamp can be photographed with sufficient sensitivity by means of long-time exposure.
