Abstract:
This imaging device (5) has many pixel cells (50) (R, G, B pixel cells) that are arranged in a row direction (X) and in a column direction (Y) orthogonal to the row direction to form a grid pattern. Pixel pairs, each pixel pair comprising two pixel cells (50) for detecting light of the same color, are continuously provided in each pixel cell row. One microlens (ML) (51) is provided for each set of two adjoining pixel cells (50) in the row direction (X). The MLs (51) are arranged such that the MLs (51) in the odd-numbered pixel cell rows are shifted in the row direction (X) with respect to the MLs (51) in the even-numbered pixel cell rows by a half of the arrangement pitch of the MLs (51) in the respective pixel cell rows. Two photoelectric conversion parts for detecting light of different colors are provided below each ML (51).
