Abstract:
This imaging device is provided with: a plurality of pixel units each of which has a single readout terminal and two or more pixels; and a control unit which performs, on each of the pixel units, a readout operation of sequentially reading out pixel signals from the two or more pixels via the readout terminal on a pixel-by-pixel basis in a unit period, and in each of the unit periods, starts the readout operation for a predetermined number of pixel units among the plurality of pixel units.
