Abstract:
The present invention minimizes temperature rise in an imaging device without giving an unnatural impression to a user. According to the present invention, an imaging element generates imaging data. A data buffer retains the imaging data. An image processing unit performs image processing on the imaging data by using the data buffer. A storage control unit causes the imaging data having undergone image processing to be stored in a storage unit. A temperature monitoring unit monitors the temperature at different places in said imaging device. A speed control unit controls storage speed in the storage unit on the basis of the temperature.
