Abstract:
Disclosed are a simply-structured, low-cost imaging device, display device, imaging display device and imaging display method capable of video reproduction of color stereoscopic images. Provided are a position imaging unit for imaging the distance to an object and the shape of the object, a color imaging unit for imaging the color and shape of the object, a signal processing unit for processing in time series distance information, color information and shape information, an image generation unit for generating images on the basis of the time series information from the signal processing unit, and a lighting unit for switching in time series between at least three different wavelengths of light and illuminating the image generation unit, wherein the image generation unit uses the illumination from the lighting unit to generate reproduced color images in time series.
