Abstract:
An imaging device (2) for eggs comprises an irradiating unit (6) and an imaging unit (7). The irradiating unit (6) irradiates ultraviolet light (L1) onto eggs (E) through a package (P1) that is translucent. The imaging unit (7) images the eggs (E) through a package (P) by capturing fluorescent light (L3) emitted from the eggs due to excitation by the ultraviolet light (L1). An inspecting device (1) for eggs comprises the imaging device (2) and an evaluating unit (9). The evaluating unit (9) evaluates the state of the eggs (E) contained in the package (P1) on the basis of the image captured by the imaging unit (7) of the imaging device (2).
