Abstract:
Provided is an imaging device that has an image processing function and can operate at high speed. The imaging device is provided with additional functions such as image processing, and is capable of holding, in pixels, analog data acquired in an imaging operation and extracting data obtained by multiplying the analog data by an arbitrary weighting factor. In addition, in the imaging device, a portion of potentials used for computations by pixels is generated by redistribution of charges charged by wires. Consequently, computations can be performed more rapidly and with lower power consumption than the potentials supplied to the pixels from another circuit.
