Abstract:
This disclosure relates to an imaging device and an electronic device which enable multiple receptions of light to be performed over time with respect to a single pulsed light emission.
A control unit instructs a light emitting unit to emit pulsed light, and thereafter instructs an image sensor to start exposure at a time T11=(2×D11)/c, end exposure at a time T21=(2×D21)/c, start exposure at a time T12=(2×D12)/c, end exposure at a time T22=(2×D22)/c, start exposure at a time T13=(2×D13)/c, and end exposure at a time T21=(2×D23)/c. This disclosure is applicable, for example, to gated imaging devices which are devices that emit pulsed light and capture an image only for a certain specified time.
