Abstract:
An air gap is provided that allows a connection electrode to be exposed on the second principal surface side in an imaging element, the air gap being formed at a position that overlaps at least the connection electrode when the imaging element is viewed in plan view from the thickness direction (A). A substrate is electrically connected to the connection electrode exposed on the second principal surface side, the connection being made at a position in the air gap that overlaps the imaging element when the imaging element is viewed in plan view from the thickness direction.
