Abstract:
Provided are an imaging device, an endoscope system, a control method, and a program such that image quality when capturing moving images can be improved. The present invention includes: an illumination control unit 342 which causes an illumination unit 31 to emit illumination light including a green wavelength band either in a first emission and a third emission or in a second emission and a fourth emission in chronological order in one period where one period is a process in which the illumination unit 31 switches the illumination light four times; an image processing unit 32 which performs image processing on image data generated by an imaging unit 22 to generate an image; and a display control unit 343 which causes the image processing unit 32 to output the image at a frame rate that is half the imaging frame rate at which the imaging unit 22 images a subject.
