Abstract:
The present invention is related to: an imaging device which enables image reconstitution accuracy to be improved; an exposure control method; a program; and an imaging element. This imaging device is provided with: an imaging element provided with a plurality of directional pixel output units which receive incident light from an object that becomes incident without passing through an imaging lens or a pinhole, and which are provided with a configuration capable of independently setting angle-of-incidence directionality, which indicates the directionality of the angle of incidence of the incident light, and non-directional pixel output units which receive the incident light that becomes incident without passing through the imaging lens or the pinhole, and which are not provided with a configuration for imparting angle-of-incidence directionality; and an exposure control unit which controls the exposure of the plurality of directional pixel output units on the basis of non-directional detection signals, i.e. the detection signals outputted from the non-directional pixel output units. The present invention is applicable to an imaging device which performs imaging without using an imaging lens.
