Abstract:
This imaging device is provided with: an imaging element; a focal plane shutter having a substrate with an opening exposing said imaging element, a front curtain and a rear curtain which freely travel between a closed position in which the opening is closed and an open position in which the opening is opened, and a front curtain actuator and a rear curtain actuator that drive the front curtain and rear curtain, respectively; a drive control unit which drives the front curtain actuator and rear curtain actuator; and a control unit which controls the imaging element.
