Abstract:
Provided is an imaging device which is capable of observing both the papillary structure and capillaries inside the papillae at the same time by comprising: an illumination unit that projects light onto a skin surface; an imaging unit that images transmitted light reflected inside the skin; a light shielding unit that is placed in tight contact with the skin surface to prevent light reflected from the skin surface from reaching the imaging unit; and a pressing unit, the distal end of which presses the skin surface to flex the epidermis of the skin being imaged. Also provided are an image display system and an image display method.
