Abstract:
As a result of the present invention, resolution deterioration caused by overcorrection can be prevented and the resolution from a restoration filter can be improved, even if variation (estimation variation) in subject distance estimated at imaging occurs when using a restoration filter corresponding to the subject distance and restoring captured images, because the present invention has a configuration whereby the optimum restoration filter that does not result in overcorrection is selected on the basis of subject distance taking into account the maximum estimated variation on the infinite side.
