Abstract:
The present disclosure pertains to an imaging device and image processing method that make it possible to improve the accuracy of distance measurement to an object. As shown in fig. 6A, in an ordinary Bayer array, the color filter is arranged in the following order from the top. First stage: R (red), G (green), R, G, …; second stage: G, B (blue), G, B, …; third stage: R, G, …; and fourth stage: G, B, …. In contrast, as shown in fig. 6B, in the sensor array of the present technology, the color filter is arranged in the following order. First stage: R, R, R, R, …; second stage: B, B, B, …; and third stage: G, G, G, …. The present disclosure can be applied to an imaging device adapted for binocular stereo in which imaging units are arranged on the left and right, for example.
