Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a technique for appropriately detecting/correcting a flash band. In order to achieve this objective, one representative imaging device of the present invention comprises: an optical system that disperses light of an object image; a plurality of imaging elements that image, using a rolling shutter method, each object image for which light is dispersed by the optical system; an imaging unit that scans, by shifting by at least one line in an auxiliary scanning direction, the slit range, which is the period between the front curtain and rear curtain of the rolling shutter method, among the plurality of imaging elements; a comparison unit that compares the image signals output by the plurality of imaging elements, and finds the line-unit level differences occurring between the image signals; and a correction unit that corrects the effect on the image signals due to the flash band, on the basis of the level differences.
