Abstract:
A microlens layer 112 of a pixel 100 is provided with a microlens in each pixel region. A color filter layer 114 allows light of a specific color to pass therethrough. In some or all of the pixel regions, a polarizer layer 116 is provided with a polarizer that allows a polarization component of a prescribed orientation to pass therethrough, and acquires a normal vector of an imaging subject by means of a detected value of said polarization component. A photoelectric conversion layer 118 is provided with multiple photodiodes in the pixel region. Distance associated with a feature point of the imaging subject is acquired by means of phase difference based on values detected by said photodiodes.
