Abstract:
An imaging device comprises: two accelerometers arranged at different locations on a first plane that is perpendicular to the optical axis of an imaging optical system; a first acceleration estimation unit for calculating an estimated acceleration value in a first direction at a first location along the optical axis on the basis of the distance between the optical axis and each accelerometer in a second direction, and the acceleration value in the first direction detected by each accelerometer; a second acceleration estimation unit for calculating an estimated acceleration value in a second direction at the first location on the basis of the distance between the optical axis and each accelerometer in the first direction, and the acceleration value in the second direction detected by each accelerometer; and a motion amount calculation unit for calculating the amount of image motion in the imaging device using the estimated acceleration value in the first direction and the estimated acceleration value in the second direction.
