Abstract:
The present invention lengthen drive time in an imaging device that is driven by a battery. This imaging device is provided with a remaining battery capacity detection unit, a solid-state imaging element, and a control unit. In this imaging device, the remaining battery capacity detection unit detects the remaining battery capacity of a battery. Moreover, in the imaging device, the solid-state imaging element captures image data. Furthermore, in the imaging device, the control unit controls the solid-state imaging element to cause the image data having a data quantity that is smaller as the remaining battery capacity measured by a remaining battery capacity measurement unit is smaller to be captured in synchronization with a predetermined synchronization signal.
